Brand New Experience with Trials
Trials
ESO gets a brand new experience with Trials, and this is the first thing that veteran players notice and appreciate. However, even the toughest veterans will be tested. In order to take them on, you will need a group of 12 experienced players. This large group is required for more than just dungeons. Additional pressures can also be created by mechanics. And, only a finite number of resurrections are available to your team during some trials. However, for those capturing one of the megaserver’s top times, there will be additional rewards granted.

Some of the most difficult and complex encounters ever experienced in game appear in Trials. Every group member must display high levels of coordination, adaptability, and skill. These Trials are challenging, to say the least.

Agility and flexibility are required by all 12 Trials players. You need to be ready by the time you reach the Veteran Rank. Trials expects players to prepare for many different situations, so there will be access to many different abilities. Plus, you must be capable of adjusting your loadout and strategy in relation to boss abilities and be capable of selecting the right skills for the encounters you experience in the game.

A high level of mechanical mastery is essential for Trial groups wishing to allow ESO to create interesting situations using the flexibility of the game skill system. For example, in a short period of time, encounters may be met that require contributions of high damage from everyone. Or, groups in certain situations may be forced to cope with the incoming damage and that damage can be extreme. When this happens, everyone may need damage reduction skills and additional healing so that play can continue.

Both spontaneous and planned group fragmentation is allowed with the skill system. Sometimes, in order to accomplish more than one objective at a single time, it may be necessary to coordinate a split up among players. However, at other times, an unexpected event arrives and can shatter the group apart without warning. That’s when every single team player has to react quickly to move ahead in the Trial. And, in order to be successful, everyone in the group must know their own role thoroughly, be able to control enemies, and capable of avoiding telegraphed damage.

There are more serious threats that the powerful bosses you will meet in Trials. Your group will need to deal with a special type of adversary. If your team hopes to survive, they must be correctly handles once they are spotted on the battlefield. For example, one type of adversary can cause damage for the duration by using their nasty power to turn the area of effects heals against your group. In addition to these abilities capable of great devastation, multiple adversaries may pop up simultaneously. Your group must quickly determine the greatest threat among them in order to survive.

Can you manage that? There is no doubt that Trials are tough. Very tough. If you overcome them, what do you get? First of all, the visuals are spectacular. In the game, the encounters with bosses are intensely spectacular and you will get a chance to visit locations in and out of Tamriel that are stunning. As your face the trial, you will see the zone’s story culminate. Plus, the loot is remarkable.

Trials do not have a lockout, which is worth mentioning. As often as you like, you and your groups can head in to take on Trials. Even if you don’t defeat all the bosses, you can still receive items. The very best loot can still be dropped, even the drops of special set pieces from the last bosses.

Don’t think of Trials as 8-hour crawls. There are many hours of dungeon-delving, quests, and exploration within the entire Adventure Zone, but with an experienced group, you can complete one Trial in a little more than an hour. Also, in order to earn more loot, you will push for faster completions. Every time you try should be exciting and intense and your group experiences improvement to master the challenges found.

You will find unique experiences that add flavor to the many adventures found in ESO with Trials.
