PvP Boot Camp

This event is organized to introduce players to the PvP part of this amazing game with the help of experienced and friendly PvP community veterans.

Here are some details. Boot Camp will last for up to 2 hours. Each Boot Camp event will be geared around a four-step curriculum that is meant to provide you, the student, with foundational PvP skills and knowledge. You will be placed into small groups, depends on the amount of the students. Each group will be overseen by event leader. The event leader job is to help you become a better PvP player. Each event will include both instruction and combat, so that students will have the opportunity to test out their skills and knowledge. Combat will also provide the event leader with the opportunity to fight alongside students and provide direct feedback. Initially, small area PvP will be the focus, but if we discover that enough PvP students sign up to participate in the event, then we will take keeps from enemy hands and hold ground in Cyrodiil.

All in all, Boot Camp event is meant to be educational where you can ask questions, obtain constructive feedback, and improve where you are weak. No “noob” is too noobish to participate in Boot Camp. Come with the gear you have. Regardless of your equipment, you are certain to learn something and grow as a player.

But perhaps you aren’t interested in becoming The PvP Player in Cyrodiil. That’s okay too! The skills you develop in PvP are applicable across Tamriel: teamwork, multi target-healing, maximizing damage, devastating builds, right timing, etc. It’s no exaggeration to say that a great PvP player will make a great PvE. So even if you don’t want to dominate the PvP area, Boot Camp will help you in all combat situations.

Every student who signs up for the Boot Camp for the first time will have his/her name entered Fight Club Event for free.

Students who complete Boot Camp will receive “PvP Boot Camp Graduate” badge next to your name in GameVox. This will allow you not only to show off to the universe that you are a Boot Camp grad, but also to apply the knowledge you have learned in a brand-new spec of your character.

Remember one thing, great PvP players do not fall from the sky. Greatness in the PvP area comes with time, patience, and a willingness to learn. Let us help you achieve your PvP goals at Boot Camp.

All communication during the event will be handled via GameVox, a free and easy to install software that can be downloaded via this page based on your computer’s operating system. Please make sure you have GameVox installed and ready to go.

To be able to talk with your group and Event Leader you will need to have a mic installed as well. You can of course, only listen in and follow directions (hence no need for talking and mic), however, we would like for this event to be interactive, with people actively commenting and asking questions. Please do not worry about your accent or grammar. The emphasis here is learning something new and having fun!
