Prize

The number of active participants will be multiply by the entry fee. 50% of all entry fees (grand total) will stay in the guild bank, the remaining 50% will be payout to our winners. For example: with 16 participants and the entry fee of 1,000 Gold, the Grand Total is 16,000 gold. We will use 8,000 gold as the prize. This amount might be split depends on the number of winners. With 3 winners, 1st place will receive (50%)=4,000 gold, 2nd (35%)=2,800 gold and 3rd (15%)=1,200 gold.

Communication

We highly recommend using GameVox to keep everyone informed. Not everyone is used to using it, but being on GameVox even without the microphone can be a HUGE help. At the very least, you must be in the same raid group and be aware what is going on. This will help you get information across when things get furious.

Tournament Brackets

We use third party to control our tournament, Challonge. It is not something that is require but you have an option to create your account with Challonge. By creating the account, you will have an access to Voting, Predictions, setting up your avatar, receiving reminder email prior event start, etc. It will make our job little bit easier as you already will be part of Savage Hearts ESO on Challonge.

Note: make sure to use your ESO Account Name for your Challonge username.

• Why some participants go straight to round #2?
  • In single and double elimination brackets, you’ll often find that some participants skip the first round (they receive byes). This cannot be avoided unless the number of participants is a power of two (2, 4, 8, 16, 32, …) — a number that can be repeatedly halved until only 1 person remains.
• Prediction Contest
  • During the prediction phase of the tournament, Challonge logged in users are able to create a prediction. Predictions can only be viewed by the prediction owner so that a user’s prediction doesn’t influence other predictions. Users who are not logged in will be guided through the account setup process, which will ultimately allow them to create a prediction. As the tournament is run and match scores are reported, predictions will automatically be scored and ranked. Once all matches have been reported, the prediction at the top of the page will have the highest score and can be declared the prediction winner. Prediction Winner will receive Savage Hearts Points!
• Challonge
  • Signing up with Challonge is not something that you have to do to participate in tournament. However, if you decide to sign up with Challonge you will be able to participate in predictions and voting. Please use your ESO account name as your Challonge user name.
