Cyrodiil Skyshard Run
Boost your skills and get to know people
Join us in Cyrodiil to collect some of the 45 skyshards there. Boost your skills and get to know people by traveling around Cyrodiil in a group event. We will aim to get as many shards as we can during this event. Please show up 15 minutes early to get into groups if you can. The more members we have participating the better chance we have to collect more skyshards.
Rules and Recommendations
Placement in the group is first come, first served. The raid group can hold up to 24 people. If the second group is needed it due to more people attending the event, we will create one.
We have the outline trail map for the run, so stick to the route and we’ll be done in no time! It is recommended that you have this page open during the run so you don’t get lost.
As always in PvP zone it is recommended for you to have generous amount of Grand Soul Gems and your own level Soul Gems for resurrecting yourself and others if needed. It is Cyrodiil after all!
If you die in PvE combat with the group, either wait to be resurrected or use a soul gem. Do not revive at the wayshrine, as it will port you back to the Alliance Base.
If you die away from the group in PvP or PvE combat and you don’t have a soul gem, resurrect at the wayshrine and take the transits network to the nearest keep base on the map next Skyshard location.
Any Dolmens encountered that are up will be engaged if the group has time. Please wait for every group member to be present before engaging the Dolmen. While others may arrive and still get completion, they will miss out on XP. Again, be courteous! If you wish to journey off by yourself to complete a distant Dolmen, you are welcome to leave the group and do so, however we will not wait on you.
We will have a designated GameVox channel for the event. We strongly recommend you are in it.
Loot is first come, first served. This includes chests, runes, herbs, and any other gatherable node. As always, be courteous. We will not call it who gets what. The raid will not stop for you to pick up your loot.
Stick with the group. If you have Rapid Maneuvers, it is recommended you use it. You can find Rapid Maneuvers in the Assault line of the Alliance War skill line.
Stay with the group. We don’t want anyone getting ganked by enemies. If you did attend Cyrodiil Boot Camp, you know how important it is to stay on Crown.
If you die in PvP combat (enemy players), please wait to be resurrected. If you are far distance from the group, or are directed by event coordinator please resurrect at the nearest keep. That is when Mumble comes handy.
As Cyrodiil is a PvP zone and we will most likely be venturing into the areas of other factions (enemy), expect to see PvP combat. In the event of one or two members of other alliances attacking us, we can most likely deal with them (unless experienced opponents and/or Emperor). Large zergs that result in the entire group dying will result in us regrouping at a nearby shrine and moving on with the event. We will not intentionally engage in the PvP combat, matter of fact we will avoid the PvP combat as much as we can while focus on our main objective, skyshards.
Skyshards behind enemy gates will only be done if the gates are open.
