Developed by the studio Zenimax, the Elder Scrolls Online is a highly popular massive multiplayer online game, or an MMO. As the player of this game, you’ll receive the role of the adventurer. Someone who can travel many providences of Tamriel fighting foes, completing quests in a timely manor, all while finding an epic amount of treasures. You may even meet a few friends along the way. This guide will help make your journey an easy one. At Savage Hearts, we not only show you the best way to level up but the right locations to find loot, and how to manipulate the game’s features for the best outcome possible.
Character Creation
Creating a character should be more than about “good looks”. The character you choose to create will significantly impact the developing story later on. Of course, you still want an avatar that looks good
Choosing The Right Race For You
The first choice you’ll be asked to make will be able to race of your character. This isn’t just to determine the way your character looks. It will also give you a race-specific, skill tree that you’ll accumulate points in as you level up. No two racial skill trees are the same when it comes to the benefits they supply. By choosing an Argonian, the game will allow you to put away your points towards restoration expertise. This skill can increase your experience that’s gained with the restoration staff by 15%. Making an Argonian an excellent choice for someone who wants to be a healer. If you want to get the most fun out of the character you choose, you should look it up in EOS before making a final decision. The gender, and visuals of your player don’t affect the skills in anyway. Use your creativity!
It’s important to take into consideration that races belong to one of three different alliances (factions) of ESO. There are no faction specific skill lines in the game. But, factions have different starting areas to begin the game, different quests to complete, and different characters. Maybe you want to spend your first couple of levels exploring the Summerset Isles, rather than Hammerfell? In this situation it’s best to go with Aldmeri Dominion for your faction. There are many other factors that may go into the choice you make. It has to do with what your friends are playing, ect. So, it’s important not to choose too hastily. Remember that the Savage Hearts Guild is part of the Ebonheart Pact Faction.
Choosing a Class
The last decision, that matter, in character creation is class. While the ESO developers stress that class isn’t apart of the starting up, it’s still important. Actually, it’s extremely important. If you’re a long time player of MMOs, you already know your whole experience is gathered, and built, around what class you choose to play. The gear you choose, the role you play, and of course the way you play is also important. It’s all based around the class you decide to become a part of. ESO does not go as far as other games, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a massive foundation for how your game will turn out.
When you’re picking a class for your player, keep in mind that there are three different skill trees around each of them. These can offer different experiences for your character. It doesn’t matter whether it’s support, or stability. In this sense, each ESO class is pretty versatile. It can fit into a lot of different builds. But this isn’t to say that any of them are similar.
If you want to take a look at templer class, you’ll see that there are three different skill likes that all provide different weaknesses for your character to fight through, and strengths to make the gaming experience better. The Aedric Spear skill line will supply you with powerful, offensive abilities. This will allow you to easily take down a single target enemy with a variety of spear attacks. The Dawn’s Wrath skill also provides a good amount of damage. The downside is that it focuses mainly on a single area – making it work best if the player is in the heart of the battle. The last skill line is Restoring Light. This is mainly there for healing buddies in battle, restoring Magicka and cleansing away any effect negative spells may bring.
When you choose the right class, you’ll have a tank, healer, and a DPS all in one class. This is a feature that quite a few MMOs don’t provide. It adds a lot of depth to the story line, and to character creation. It means that when taking in a class you need to take into account all three of the roles that are offered to you. It’s important to decide which archetype you want your character to hold.
” Remember that the Savage Hearts Guild is part of the Ebonheart Pact Faction ” ‘Sorry Noob Alert’ ‘ This is my second MMO ever played ‘ I am confused here , does this mean I cant play another Char from a different faction & still be in the guild with that Char ? Also if I play 1 faction does that mean I cant go into another faction zone to do those quest unless I have a Char that starts in that faction ? So is this like the Ally & Horde factions on WOW except there are 3… Read more »
If your character is not EP faction you will not be able to join our PvP events, however with non-pvp events factions does not matter. You mentioned Horde and Alliance in WoW. Cyrodiil is the PvP zone and anything that is happening there is faction effected.
